How many words on a poster?

We’ve seen everything from 1 word to a huge 800 words on posters and just about everything in between. Its become a bit of a thing with us recently and has led us to do quite a lot of research finding what is the optimal number of words to engage quickly.

Clever writing is an art form in itself, and when you get the marriage of both emotive image and great copy together, the result can be breathtaking. Think VW, The Economist, Nike, Apple, I could go on. Global names now, but they all started off somewhere as start-ups, desperate to achieve market-share in well established markets and elevate themselves with their point of difference.
